I’m deeply grateful to WBEZ and the Chicago Sun Times for this generous profile. Thank you Mike Davis for taking an interest in this exciting and wild life of mine. My path hasn’t been linear but I have always wanted to live my life in the theater. Oddly enough, I feel like I’m in pursuit of the life I’m living. And while this profile felt a bit like a memoir moment, in my mind, I’m just getting started. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet! Also check it out in the Chicago Sun-Times.

Coronation

Many years in the making, I am FINALLY directing this dream project of mine. Laura Winter’s bitingly funny, and spookily poignant play Coronation is set to premiere at The Den Theater in the fall of 2024. Tickets are on sale now. My hope for this show is to approach big questions around female autonomy and systemic change with imagination, courage and a sense of celebration…even in the darkest of times. To be directing this show in an election year wherein a woman is running for President of the United States is deeply gratifying as this moment is ripe for change…we, as a country, just have to be brave enough to embrace it.

Refracted Theatre Company Relocates to Chicago

With my theatre company, Refracted, I have officially relocated to Chicago. Beyond being my hometown, Chicago has always been a place of great opportunity for me. Chicago’s storefront theaters are part of a supportive network, which will be critical to Refracted’s success. Refracted’s Chicago debut season will be announced in the next few months. Stay Tuned!
